Under general direction, applies knowledge of telecommunications systems and audio video production techniques, sound slide presentations, and peripheral support equipment to provide robust and fully functional VTC capabilities.
Supervises the modification, installation, testing, evaluation, and operation of electrical, electronic, video, audio, and related communications equipment.
Maintains, repairs, inspects, and troubleshoots or programs systems, equipment, and components.
Reviews, analyzes, or applies technical or maintenance specifications, policies, and standards.
Installs low bit rate video systems adhering to configuration management of network connectivity and equipment compatibility.
Interfaces and coordinates with customers regarding system requirements determination, specification alternatives and project solutions.
EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS:
Shall have experience in video telecommunications systems and standards.
Shall have experience in ISDN and IP video/audio conferencing.
Shall have a working knowledge in common core desktop and web applications, Microsoft Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Contractor shall have Certified Video Engineer (CVE) certification within 30 days of hire.
Contractor shall have latest Polycom and Cisco conference bridge management certification within 6 months of hire.
Requires completion of GVS User and Facilitator CBT training within 30 days of hire.
Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Will be required to undergo and pass applicable background checks.
