Lead Peripheral Equipment Operator



JOB TITLE:                             

  • Task Lead / Peripheral Equipment Operator

JOB TYPE:                             

  • Full Time - (40 hours, 5 days, some shifts may include Saturday hours)

SCHEDULED SHIFT:                                  

  • Day shift (7:45 AM – 4:00 PM)

  • Program Manager

STARTING SALARY:             

  • $15.08 Per Hour


  • Considering local candidates with US Citizenship or Green Card only.

  • Position Requires - National Agency Check (NAC) Low Risk


  • Coordinate the activities of the teams under this position
  • Task Leadership
  • Operates high speed Laser Print Systems (LPS), Xerox Models DP2K-180 and DP2K-100
  • Manually processes printed material to include separating listings by destination, logging completion of the process in Output Status Logs
  • Prepares packages for shipping printed material
  • Labels packages for shipping using FedEx Powership system a Windows based Personal Computer
  • Files local copies of reports
  • Prepares status reports of work completed and work pending on each shift Reports Include status of equipment problems


  • Recommend the approval of leave
  • Reviewing work
  • Provide feedback to the program manager for the purpose of evaluating employees
  • Coordinate training with VA
  • Resolve complaints
  • Recruit – interview and recommendation
  • Reporting progress
  • Assignment of work
  • Lead local meetings and the integrated product team
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Knowledge of data processing rules
  • Knowledge of high speed laser print systems
  • Ability to understand, write and speak the English language
  • The contract employee level of background investigation required for this effort is BI/High Risk.
