POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a Deputy Program Manager who will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager (PM) in the complete technical service delivery on a USSOCOM  program. This role also acts as the Assistant Manager as well as the Assistant Administrator for the contract. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fill in for and assists the PM, to provide subject matter expertise to corporate leadership on identification, qualification, capture, and execution of contracted services.
  • Provide management of processes and supervision of staff that support the USSOCOM program.
  • Responsible for meeting all contractual performance standards, required deliverables, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the PM in providing management and oversight of all activities performed by Contractor personnel, including subcontractors, to satisfy the requirements identified in the Statement of Work (SOW). 
  • Assist the PM in providing management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership for the execution of the program. 
  • Serve as the deputy single point of contact for the work performed under this contract, including work performed by subcontractors. 
  • Assist in recruiting, screening and selecting personnel for assignment to support task orders.
  • Assist the PM in providing financial management oversight and technical delivery oversight of the contract.
  • Assist the PM in providing corporate leadership at monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual Program Management Reviews.
  • Assist the PM in implementing program in accordance with customer requirements and potential design constraints.
  • Find innovative ways of solving problems or taking pre-emptive action before problems arise.
  • Assist the PM in implementing improved individual and team processes for project planning, development techniques, oversight, and correction that improve team performance and increase client satisfaction.
  • Developing and providing updated Transition-In Plan, Project Management Plan and Quality Control Plan (QCP)
  • Assist the PM in  preparing Monthly Status Reports (MSR)
  • Assist the PM in convening monthly Task Order Activity and Status Meetings with  Government stakeholders
  • Assist the PM in preparing and updating Project Management Plan (PMP) 

 EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen to support this government contract and possess and maintain   a current DoD Top Secret security clearance
  • In accordance with DoD 8570.01; Candidate must meet the Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II requirements  by having one of the following certifications: GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP,  CCNA-Sec, Cissp, Cisa, CASP, GCIH, GSEC, or GCED
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; or equivalent experience is required.
  • 10 years Program Management experience, ideally in the DoD environment.
  • Excellent organizational, decision making, and communications skills as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project are also required.
  • Strong customer relations experience leading to new business.
  • Demonstrated excellence at written and oral communication.
  • Ability to build and manage a strong team.
  • Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) - Desired
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience preparing and delivering briefing material to senior Officers (0-7 and above) and senior civilians.
