MUST RESIDE 1 HOUR FROM SITE: Dahlgren Navy Support Facility.
Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with current SCI.

Position Summary: MILVETS is seeking an experienced Logistician with knowledge of asset disposal, ESD handling, and storage.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with logistics planning and asset disposal activities as needed.
- Handle, consolidate, and store ESD items separate from other items, as feasible.
- Manage, schedule, and transport Test, Measurement, Diagnostics, and Equipment (TMDE) to/from the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) for calibration as the customer responsible for organizational-level maintenance.
- Work closely with the government mission partners to ensure continuity of operations.
- Accomplish paperwork to turn in assets no longer in use or in working order to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services.
- Coordinate turn-in paperwork with the COR and submit to the government for final approval and submission to DLA.
- Assist system owner(s) with the transport of assets per DLA instructions.
- Supports critical operations during standard and occasionally non-standard working hours.
Experience:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics and management of sensitive equipment.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
Familiar with Electrostatic Sensitive Device (ESD) equipment handling and storage.
Experience with asset disposal processes and procedures.
Preferred Experience: Working knowledge of Test, Measurement, Diagnostics, and Equipment (TMDE).
Working knowledge of COMSEC procedures and standards. Working knowledge of cable maintenance.
Relevant Education: High School Diploma / GED
