Overview: MILVETS is currently seeking a SharePoint Power Apps Developer with 4–7 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise solutions leveraging SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Premises, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate). The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building scalable collaboration platforms, automating workflows, and integrating modern applications into business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and deploy SharePoint solutions, including custom web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, and site collections.
  • Create and maintain Power Apps solutions (Canvas and Model-driven apps) with integration into SharePoint, SQL, and external APIs.
  • Design and implement Power Automate workflows to automate business processes.
  • Administer and maintain SharePoint environments, including permissions, governance, and security management.
  • Develop solutions using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular).
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize performance of SharePoint and Power Apps applications.
  • Support end-users by providing technical guidance, documentation, and training as needed.

Technical Expertise:

  • SharePoint Online & On-Premises development and administration.
  • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate workflows, and integration with external data sources (CDS, SQL, APIs).
  • SPFx development with React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery.
  • REST API utilization for SharePoint and Power Platform integrations.
  • Workflow automation with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Power Automate.
  • System maintenance, patching, and security compliance for SharePoint environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, OR a Level II certification (Security+ or better).
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in SharePoint and Power Apps development.
  • Proven ability to develop, configure, and administer SharePoint Online and On-Premises environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with Power Apps development and workflow automation via Power Automate.
  • Strong technical background in JavaScript, REST APIs, and modern front-end frameworks.

Preferred Attributes:

  • 7 years of experience as a SharePoint or Power Apps Developer, with 3+ years of specialized experience in SharePoint/Power Apps solutions.
  • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform and/or SharePoint development.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and governance of enterprise SharePoint/Power Platform environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with federal IT compliance requirements (NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, DoD STIGs) a plus.
  • 7 years of experience as a SharePoint or Power Apps Developer, with 3+ years of specialized experience in SharePoint/Power Apps solutions.
  • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform and/or SharePoint development.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and governance of enterprise SharePoint/Power Platform environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
