  • Provide training units with a simulation and stimulation environment utilizing government provided hardware and software configured to fulfill the needs of a simulation control plan provided by a Military Training Manager. Provide subject matter expertise in the area of military simulations and stimulation of military tactical systems by simulation systems.


  • Setup and operate simulation / stimulation hardware and software systems in support of simulation based exercises

  • Knowledge of Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Entity Resolution Federation (ERF), Army table of organization and equipment, and command & control systems is desired

  • Have a working knowledge of the installation, operation and troubleshooting of Linux and Windows operating systems

  • Primary knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux v5 and above is desired. Will be responsible for maintenance of operating system installations such as backups and application of issued security and maintenance patches (i.e. IAVA Patches)

  • Have a working knowledge of TCP/IP networking in both Linux and Microsoft operating system environments over local and wide-area networks.  Need knowledge of troubleshooting techniques of IP, UDP, and multi-cast traffic

  • Maintain proficiency with current and future versions of simulation software, operating system software and hardware fielded to the Mission Training Complex

  • Setup and tear down simulation work stations prior to and after all training events

  • Communicate and share constructive perspective in order to achieve success of task and missions present and future

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Will be required to undergo and pass applicable background checks.
  • Must be a United States Citizen to support this government contract, and possess and maintain a current SECRET level security clearance.
  • In accordance with DoD 8570.01 and DoDD 8140.01 “Cyberspace Workforce Management” ; Candidate must meet the Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level I requirements  by having one of the following certifications:   CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP,  CCNA-Sec, Cissp, Cisa, CASP, GCIH, GSEC, or GCED
  • Availability to work extended hours including nights & weekends.
  • Availability to travel to and work at a temporary duty location both CONUS and OCONUS 2-4 times per year for up to 2 weeks per trip. Must be a disciplined worker capable of meeting short suspense’s without intense supervision.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds in weight.
  • FEMA Independent Study Courses: IS-75, IS-100.b, IS-200.b, IS-700.a, IS-800.b are required (These courses must be completed within a specified timeframe upon hire, dependent upon the contract schedule, generally within 120 days. IS-120.a, IS-130, IS-230.d are suggested)
